“We’re all experienced [and] experience helps a lot when it comes to football. I think we’ll put a lot more points on the board. [Our] linemen are going to be tough and we should be able to run and throw the football well this year.’’

There is still work to be done to match last year’s finish as SA has five playoff teams on its schedule.

“There’s always room for improvement,’’ said Christian. “Our secondary is going to be young, we’re going to have to be better tacklers, we have to learn how to finish games and finish drives.

“We’ve got some experience, but you never know what’s going to happen. All we can do is come down here and work hard and prepare our kids. I’m always excited this time of year.’’
